Product description This B&H Kit combines the Tilta Gravity G2 Handheld Gimbal with a hard-shell case and a Core SWX Powerbase EDGE V-mount battery, enabling you to extend your gimbal's runtime with a base-type battery that fits to the bottom of your camera. This battery's one-pound weight is easily accommodated within the Gravity G2's payload capacity of eight pounds. The Gravity G2 gimbal features 360° of both pan and tilt rotation, an auto-calibration function, iOS control, and a dedicated cold shoe support for increased stability of your DSLR or mirrorless camera. - Tilta Gravity G2 Handheld Gimbal System with Hard-Sided Case The Tilta Gravity G2 Handheld Gimbal System is a single-hand gimbal system that features 360° of rotation in both the pitch (tilt) and yaw (pan) axis. It supports cameras weighing up to 8 pounds. An auto-calibrate function allows the gimbal to tweak its motor settings based on the mounted camera's properties. A downloadable iOS app permits further fine-tuning of the motor settings as well as remote control of individual axes, and wireless time-lapse. Built into the stabilizer is an arm that rides along a rod and mounts to your camera's cold shoe. This provides additional security and stability when mounting your camera on the gimbal.
Four built-in operating modes allow you to adjust the gimbal to best suit the needs of your shot. The gimbal features a quick release handgrip that holds the batteries (not included), allowing you to minimize the size of the gimbal unit. Dual rosettes offer additional mounting possibilities for accessories or handgrips. A built-in micro-USB connector provides 5 VDC power. Without the battery handgrip, you can power the gimbal from a 14.8 VDC power source. The gimbal is made from aluminum and stainless steel, and features a Brazilian rosewood handle. Included with this item is a hard-sided water-resistant case that protects your gimbal during transport and storage. - Auto-Calibration
- Once mechanically balanced, the auto-calibration feature senses the camera payload and configures the motors to the match your camera's configuration.
- Bluetooth App
- The Tilta Assistant App (currently iOS only) allows you to individually adjust each motor's torque, dead zone, acceleration, and speed. In addition, the app lets you remotely control the gimbal's axes and set up a wireless time-lapse mode.
- Operation Modes
-
- Pan and tilt (yaw and pitch) follow mode
- Tilt lock mode
- Fully stabilized mode
- Roll lock mode
- Each arm features a 7 to 11 cm marking scale, which makes changing cameras or configurations a rapid process, as once you balance a specific camera setup, you can make a note and then reset quickly to match your previous markings.
- The handgrip is also the battery holder. No batteries are included with the item, and they must be sourced separately.
UPC: 636946280567 - Core SWX Powerbase EDGE V-Mount Battery The Core SWX Powerbase EDGE in a V-mount is a 14.8V, 49Wh, lithium-ion battery featuring an 8A continuous draw. This follow-up to the popular Powerbase 70 battery offers multiple modes of use. In addition to the V-mount, which allows it to be used with all cameras supporting a V-mount battery, the Powerbase EDGE has an 8.4V regulated DC output, a D-Tap output, a SmartTap output, and two USB ports.
Using the appropriate Powerbase EDGE power cable (sold separately), you can connect the battery to most mirrorless and DSLR cameras via the 8.4 VDC output. The SmartTap output, which is a Core SWX innovation, is a standard D-Tap connection with additional contacts inside that communicate SMBUS/smart battery data to compatible cameras. Other than this, it works just like a regular D-Tap port and supports standard D-Tap cables. Accordingly, you can use either the SmartTap or D-Tap port to power a camera using an optional D-Tap cable. The remaining one can be used to power an accessory, and likewise the USB ports can be used simultaneously with any of the other power options to power 5V accessories or charge mobile devices. The D-Tap port also functions as a charging port and supports D-Tap chargers such as the Core SWX PB70C15.
The Powerbase EDGE has an LCD on the side that provides runtime in minutes. Located on the side, it's easy to check on and read during production. Moreover, a button-activated backlight allows you to see it clearly in dark environments.
Like the Powerbase 70, the Powerbase EDGE comes with a small quick release adapter that provides a convenient way of attaching the battery to cheese plates and other camera supports. It secures onto the middle of the battery and provides a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. If, for example, you're looking to power your camera using the battery's D-Tap port, the quick release adapter provides a convenient way of attaching the battery to your rig in order to do that. - Key Features
