Product description Designed specifically for the Panasonic VariCam LT, this Camera Rig from Tilta is a formfitting cage and power distribution system made of anodized, precision CNC Machined aluminum and built on a 15mm rod system for mounting accessories like matte boxes and follow focuses (available separately). The top handle is removable and has a quick release latch that allows it to smoothly slide out of the front of the top plate. The front end of the top handle has mounts for 15mm rods, as well as a horizontal mount for the included EVF support system. Also included is a bracket for mounting the camera's original EVF system directly to the front of the cage.
Power is drawn from the rear-mounted Sony V-mount battery plate, and dispersed via a series of 3-pin Fischer and 2-pin LEMO-style outputs located around the power distribution and top plates. There is also a 12-14.8V 6-pin LEMO-style power input located on the power distro. Power can be monitored via a display located on the side plate.
The camera attaches to a slide-in plate with multiple mounting points. When this plate is inserted into the baseplate, the VariCam LT can be comfortably shoulder-mounted or attached to the integrated VCT-14 V-lock wedge for extra stability on tripods, pedestals, and other support systems. - Components
