Product description Made from golden-hued mother of pearl, Shell Tones Gold MOP Guitar Picks by Timber Tones Picks utilize the hardness properties of mother of pearl to evoke bright and sometimes brash tones from the electric guitar. The material is suitable for playing lightly picked clean passages and jazz styles. During manufacture the mother of pearl is machine ground to a thickness of 2.5mm, and then a two-sided chamfer is ground by hand, giving the pick a playing tip of 0.7mm thick.
