Product description The limited edition lucite green PAL BT Bluetooth Portable Radio features a simple interface, room-filling sound, and Bluetooth connectivity for Bluetooth-enabled devices. After turning the radio on, the AM/FM tuner handles station identification, and music is heard through the 2.5" speaker. The PAL BT (PAL stands for Portable Audio Laboratory, not the European video standard) also allows you to stream audio wirelessly through the integrated Bluetooth receiver, which uses advanced A2DP technology for high quality wireless audio. The PAL BT also features FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum), which narrows the frequency across the spectrum in short "hops" instead of a single signal, thereby intercepting and eliminating interference from other devices on the 2.4 GHz band. What you get is an almost interference-free Bluetooth experience. The NiMH rechargeable battery pack provides anywhere from twenty minutes to several hours of audio listening enjoyment (volume levels and other factors will decrease battery playback time). The eco-friendly battery pack has no "memory" so it can be charged at any time in the battery's life cycle, and fully charges in about 3 hours. The standard 30' reception range for Bluetooth and device pairing functionality is present here as well.
