Product description The red Toa Electronics ER-1206S is a handheld megaphone designed to provide reliable voice and siren amplification for indoor and outdoor public address scenarios. 6W of rated output power provide a maximum range of approximately 820 feet for voice projection, or up to 1033 feet for the siren alert. This IPX5-rated megaphone is splash-proof, and incorporates an anti-bacterial treatment to ensure safe usage when passed from person to person. The compact and lightweight ER-1206S features a durable ASA resin housing and a pistol-grip handle with a trigger-style talk switch and a convenient carrying strap. It can be powered by six AA batteries for up to eight hours, or by four AA batteries for up to five hours (batteries available separately). - IPX5-rated megaphone for outdoor and marine applications
- Built-in siren alert sounds at five-second intervals
- 6W rated output power (10W maximum) for voice projection range of approximately 820' (up to 1033' for siren alert)
- 450 Hz to 6 kHz frequency response optimized for speech clarity
- Durable ASA resin construction with splash-proof horn
- Anti-bacterial treatment to cope with multi-user environments
- Neodymium magnet and polyimide diaphragm for improved speaker performance
- Six standard AA batteries (available separately) yield up to eight hours of operating time for voice projection, or approximately 20 minutes of use with the siren switched on
- Install supplied battery spacer and four standard AA batteries (available separately) for up to five hours of operating time for voice projection, or approximately 10 minutes of use for siren projection
- Pistol-grip handle with convenient carrying strap
