Product description The Alt-Rock EZX Expansion Pack for EZdrummer 2 from Toontrack is a collection of drum and percussion sounds recorded by Steve Albini, whose talents have left an undeniable imprint on the sound of alternative rock. The collection was recorded at Albini's Electrical Studio in Chicago and uses two full kits including a Ludwig Club Date kit and a DW Collector's Series kit, plus five additional snares, two additional kicks, and five additional cymbals. Five percussion instruments have also been incorporated, including 26" and 29" Ludwig timpani drums.
The Alt-Rock EZX presents a genuine, crude, and raw pallet of drum sounds, well suited for the soft-loud-soft approach that is synonymous with the classic alt-rock sound. Albini utilizes his trademark method of mic placement, attention to detail, and drum-tuning scrutiny to craft a broad sonic pallet of color that runs the gamut of classic alternative rock. The software also includes a selection of MIDI drum grooves played by professional players inspired by alt-rock music. - General Features
