Product description Beatstation from Toontracks is a virtual instrument that is both simple and effective to use, but is also a very powerful sound design and music production tool. The 1.5GB library provides drum, bass and lead instruments that, with drag and drop simplicity, allow for the fast creation of full grooves in no time. Also included is full MIDI and REX file support, along with loop ready REX files and completely customizable MIDI arrangements. For the advanced user, the software contains a number of powerful tools for manipulating MIDI, working in sound design, instrument creation and full mixing. This includes ADSR envelopes, pitch shifting, reverse, sample offset, note-on/off, and mono or poly performance. Also available are 5-part sample/REX loop or slice layering per pad all with individual parameter control, variable swing, flam, transposition, half tempo, double tempo, and a handy part separation feature for extracting a specific part from a MIDI file. Beatstation can function as a standalone instrument or as an Audio Units, RTAS or VST plug-in within a preferred DAW. The instrument also lets you use and combine all existing Toontrack EZX and SDX drum libraries together to create one of a kind drum kits and sounds. From basic musical sketches to lavish complete productions, Beatstation provides the tools and freedom to create unique content. - With the core content, access is granted to all the acoustic, electronic and re-sampled instrument samples vital to modern production
