Product description EZdrummer 2 Metal Edition from Toontrack pairs the company's virtual drum module with two drum sample expansion packs dedicated to reproducing the sounds of heavy metal. Aside from the five sampled kits and the comprehensive functionality in EZdrummer 2, the bundle delivers an additional twelve drum sets, engineered and produced by Andy Sneap (Testament, Megadeth), Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, DevilDriver), Jason Suecof (Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder) and Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames). Also included are mix-ready presets and a large library of drum grooves. - EZdrummer 2 Virtual Drum Module Plug-In (Download) This downloadable version of Toontrack EZdrummer 2 is a virtual drum module plug-in that is designed to allow you to produce realistic sounding drums quickly and easily. The software features two sound libraries with a total of 5 professionally recorded drum kits.
The drum sounds were recorded by renowned engineer Chuck Ainlay in the main recording room at the British Grove Studios. This acoustic space was chosen for its large size with high ceilings and dense walls; carefully designed to produce a natural, balanced reverb.
EZdrummer 2 comes loaded with a modern drum setup, a vintage drum setup and a percussion library featuring traditional instruments. The modern library includes drum selections from DW, Gretsch, Yamaha, Ludwig, Sonor, Tama and Brady, all recorded through Neve 88R and EMI TG12345 consoles as well as through various chains of vintage and modern outboard processors. The vintage library is comprised of two classic Ludwig kits and was recorded through a rare REDD.51 console. - Modern Kits:

The DW Collector X-shell and Ludwig Quadra Plus drums were recorded and mixed in professional recording studios by Mark Lewis, Jason Suecof and Daniel Bergstrand.
