Product description New York Studios SDX Bundle from Toontrack includes New York Studios Volume 1, 2, and 3 SDX expansions for Superior Drummer 3. It offers a total of 50GB of unprocessed drum sounds with 3 complete kits, 26 snares, 15 kicks, and a multitude of cymbals captured in meticulous detail in the most notable and legendary drum rooms in the New York area: Allaire Studios, Avatar Studios, and The Hit Factory.Produced and recorded by engineer Neil Dorfsman (Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen), Pat Thrall (Katy Perry, Beyoncé), and drummer Nir Z (Genesis, Chris Cornell), the bundle provides musicians and producers with a palette of historical drum sounds (that also includes the classic Superior Drummer 2 core sound library), to create drum tracks with natural timbre and tone or build modern-sounding kits using the sound shaping and sound design tools available in Superior Drummer. - New York Studios Vol.1 SDX Expansion for Superior Drummer 3 (Download) Meticulously recorded by engineer duo Neil Dorfsman and Pat Thrall together with drummer Nir Z, Toontrack New York Studios Vol.1 SDX is an expansion for Superior Drummer 3 that captures the famous ambient and punchy drum room sound of Avatar Studios in New York City. - New York Studios Legacy Series Volume 2 Toontrack's New York Studios Legacy Series Volume 2 contains unique sample recordings from two legendary New York Studios - Hit Factory NY and Allaire Studios.
The recordings at Hit Factory New York were the starting point for Toontrack in developing Superior Drummer 2.0 and the decision to record samples at Allaire was a result of wanting to capture the best studio rooms in New York.
Sadly, for the music and recording industry both studios are now closed. Thus the subtitle "The Lost New York Studios." Toontrack is privileged to have been given the opportunity to record these great rooms in collaboration with the world class recording team of engineer and producer Pat Thrall (Glenn Hughes, Black Crowes, Beyoncé etc), producer Neil Dorfsman (Kiss, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Sting) and drummer Nir Z (Genesis, John Mayer, Joss Stone and Chris Cornell). - Allaire Studio (Pro Mark Drumsticks)
