Product description Designed for users of EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3, these Toontrack Seventies Prog MIDI Drum Grooves provide you with drum patterns that work great in prog rock, a genre that combines musical stylings as it changes time signatures, often within a single phrase. Blues, psychedelic rock, and jazz are frequently blended together in prog rock song. This genre is perhaps best typified by King Crimson, Spock's Beard, Styx, early Genesis, and early Pink Floyd. The grooves provided herein give you beats in time signatures ranging from 3/4 to 11/8 and everything in between. Straight feels and swing feels are represented. And even though the grooves cover many unusual meters, they have been played by real drummers to preserve a basic, easy-to-understand feel throughout. When paired with EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3, each groove can be customized seamlessly via Toontrack's Edit Play Style feature, giving you rich editing possibilities, and lending even more humanization to these MIDI grooves. So if you're the next Steven Wilson, looking to program prog feels all by yourself—as he did with early Porcupine Tree records—you can do so more easily with this groove pack.
