Product description Women of Influence: Katrin Eismann Read More The DVD version of Topaz Simplify Plug-In from Topaz Labs LLC helps to instantly convert any photograph into an artistically-styled image using a variety of styles, including watercolors, textured oil paintings, cartoon-like images, abstracts, charcoal drawings, line art, and photorealistic paintings. This plug-in uses a unique size-based technology (topological decomposition) in order to process photos in an efficient manner that selectively removes unnecessary image clutter to produce a highly effective artistic image with a range of controls for maintaining the original integrity of an image along with a new, unique appearance.
This plug-in is not a standalone program and requires a compatible host program for use. Compatible hosts include: Adobe Photoshop CC, Photoshop (non-CC), Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Lightroom, Apple Aperture, iPhoto, Corel PaintShop Pro, PhotoImpact, Serif PhotoPlus, Topaz photoFXlab, and IrfanView. - Pre-made style collections, including Painting, Sketch, and Line and Ink, can be used to inspire creativity.
- A wide variety of presets are available for quick image editing. Furthermore, these presets can be customized based on individual needs or brand new presets can be created.
- Presets and effects can be altered to one's needs using the efficient adjustment controls for applying global adjustments. Alternatively, selective adjustments can also be made to affect different, local areas of an image.
- Simplify's robust processing abilities help to render a more efficient overall workflow and each photo processed is benefitted by the combination of four distinct processes:
- Edge Tracing, which automatically traces the important edge features in a photo and modifies their style or thickness if needed.
- Details, which independently adjusts smaller image details to add more texture along with finer control.
- Large Image Features, which broadly affects the image and works to remove unwanted image elements in order to set up a clean, neutral starting point from which to refine.
- Original Enhancement, which refines the final results of the editing process by intelligently merging it with enhanced parts of the original photo for a more natural finished image.
