Product description Upgrade your home wireless network with the C2700 Wireless Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router from TP-Link. Equipped with four detachable antennas and boasting a total data transfer rate up to 2,533 Mb/s, the dual-band C2700 Wi-Fi Router supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard. The router is powered by Intel's Home Wi-Fi chipset, which is designed to minimize wireless interference while accelerating both wired and wireless transmissions. The Archer C2700 comes with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, as well as a USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 port and a USB 2.0 port for media and device sharing. The C2700 also features multi-user MIMO support, which allows for multiple simultaneous device connections; band steering, which is designed to direct devices to the most optimal wireless band; and airtime fairness, which helps to boost network efficiency by giving each connected device the same amount of time to transfer data. - Intel Home Wi-Fi Chipset

- Media Sharing
- USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 and 2.0 ports with Samba, FTP server, and media server support let you connect external drives to the Archer C2700 for media and device sharing. Link aggregation combines Ethernet speeds up to 2 Gb/s on NAS devices by combining two of the four 10/100/1000 Mb/s LAN ports, which doubles the connection speeds to an external storage device for faster streaming and data backups. USB 3.0 and 3.1 Gen 1 are synonymous.

- TrendMicro-powered security helps to defend your sensitive data and IoT devices against cyber threats. TP-Link HomeCare features built-in antivirus and intruder prevention tools, an automatically updating security database, parental controls, and QoS features.

- The Archer C2700 supports OpenVPN, PPTP VPN, and L2TP VPN, while VPN acceleration helps speeds up VPN connections.
- Simple Setup
- Use the TP-Link Tether app for iOS and Android or the C2700's web interface to complete your setup in minutes. The TP-Link Tether app allows you manage your home network either at home or remotely.
- Alexa and IFTTT Support
- You can control your network via Amazon Alexa voice commands, while support for IFTTT lets you configure automated actions that are triggered by various network events.
- Additional Features
- The Archer C2700 offers such quality-of-service features as WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) and bandwidth control. Supported WAN modes include dynamic IP, static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP. Software management features include access control, local management, and remote management. DHCP server, client, client list, and address reservation are supported, along with port forwarding features such as virtual server, port triggering, UPnP, and DMZ. Supported dynamic DNS services include DynDNS and No-IP, while firewall features include SPI mode and IP and MAC address binding. Guest networks are available for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.
