Product description Eliminate the need to purchase a cable modem and router separately with the CR1900 AC1900 Wireless Dual-Band DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem & Router from TP-Link. This DOCSIS 3.0 compatible modem features a single coax input allowing you to connect the Archer CR1900 directly to your incoming cable line. Once connected, the modem/router does the rest and you can begin routing your connection via four Gigabit Ethernet ports or wirelessly over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
In addition to the four Gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of the device, you will also find dual USB ports allowing you to plug in devices such as thumb drives and external hard drives, making it easy to share your files with users throughout the network. You can even share files remotely over an FTP connection.
Along with support for dual-band networking, the Archer CR1900 supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi networking standard for an ultra-fast wireless network connection. With a maximum data throughput of up to 1900 Mb/s you can stream HD content, game online, transfer large files, and more. Additionally, TP-Link has incorporated beamforming technology into this modem/router which provides a more focused and concentrated connection directly to your wireless devices. As a result, you benefit from a more reliable, stable connection. - High-Speed Internet, Zero Rental Fees
- This AC1900, dual-band, DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and router comes certified for cable Internet Service Providers including XFINITY from Comcast, Spectrum, and more.
- All-in-One Cable Modem and Wi-Fi Router
- Watch 4K movies, play games, and get more from your cable internet with the CR1900 all-in-one modem and Wi-Fi router, certified for XFINITY from Comcast, Spectrum and more. AC1900 Wi-Fi speeds and 24x8 channel bonding deliver uninterrupted 4K streaming and support the fastest DOCSIS 3.0 cable internet subscriptions.
- 24x8 Channel Bonding for Faster Internet Plans
- The CR1900 uses DOCSIS 3.0 and channel bonding to deliver throughput 300% faster than 8x4 modems and support download speeds up to 1 Gb/s over coax cable. ISP rate limiting makes the CR1900 ideal for DOCSIS 3.0 cable internet plans 500 Mb/s and above.
Actual cable internet uplink and downlink speeds will vary according to your cable provider, MSO provisioning, and the speed tier of your subscription - Eliminate Monthly Rental Fees
- Own your cable modem router and eliminate networking equipment rental fees from your monthly internet bill to save up to $120 per year.
- Beamforming for Stronger Connections
- Beamforming technology lets the CR1900 locate Wi-Fi devices and focus its wireless signal towards them instead of simply sending Wi-Fi signal in all directions at once. With Beamforming, Wi-Fi connections made by the CR1900 are stronger and more reliable, even as you carry mobile devices like smartphones and tablets from room to room.
- Parental Controls and Guest Wi-Fi
- The CR1900's Parental Controls let you manage when and how connected devices can access the internet. And the Guest Network feature provides visitors with Wi-Fi access separate from your main network.
- Easy Setup and Hassle-Free Activation
- The CR1900 sets up easily with hassle-free online activation or a quick phone call to your service provider. Simply connect a coax cable to modem router, join the Wi-Fi network using the default Wi-Fi name and password, and open a Web browser to navigate to your ISP's self-activation page. If a self-activation page does not load, call your ISP support team to assist you with activating your internet service.
- Easy, Efficient Data Access
- Two USB ports make storing, accessing, and sharing data easy by allowing multiple USB devices to connect to the modem router at the same time without the need for a separate USB hub. This allows you to download or stream media from flash and hard drives, including music, photos, and movies, as well as share printers across your network.
