Product description With Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, the T2700G-28TQ JetStream 28-Port Gigabit Stackable L2+ Managed Switch from TP-Link can handle a variety of networking tasks. Layer 2 functionality includes Link Aggregation Protocol (LACP), 4K VLAN support, IGMP Snooping, LLDP, and much more while Layer 3 capabilities include Wire-speed IP forwarding, Static Routing, DHCP Server/Relay, and more. By handling both Layer 2 and 3 tasks, this switch can not only manage the data being transferred, but also determine where the data is going and how it is getting there. Throughout the data transmission process it becomes necessary to provide a Quality of Service (QoS), and TP-Link has included features such as 802.1p CoS/DSCP priority, 8 priority queues, Port/Flow-based rate limiting, and more to ensure bandwidth is allocated properly.
With 24 Gigabit Ethernet and 4 combo Gigabit SPF slots, this JetStream switch can handle a large number of users and connections. The four combo Gigabit SFP slots make it simple to connect to high-speed localized storage networks for super-fast transfers of large amounts of data. Inside the T2700G-28TQ you will find four built-in fans to keep everything cool even when this unit is stacked with an additional 7 switches. Once installed, users benefit from a 128 Gbps switching capacity, 320 Gbps bandwidth/backplane, and a 95.2 Mpps forwarding rate to handle data in a smooth efficient manner. - Basic L3 Routing and Service Features
