Product description With no installation or configuration required, the TL-SF1005P 5-Port Fast Ethernet PoE Unmanaged Switch from TP-Link makes it easy to begin connecting additional Ethernet-enabled devices to your network.
This switch comes equipped with five Fast Ethernet ports, four of which are 802.3af PoE-compliant. This means you can power a variety of PoE-compliant devices such as access points and IP phones directly from the switch, and with a power budget of up to 58W there is enough power to go around. Should connected devices exceed that power budget, this switch is capable of shutting power off to network ports starting with port 4. Once installed, connected clients can take advantage of bandwidth up to 1 Gb/s and a 2K Mac Address table to ensure optimal network performance. - Power over Ethernet
- Four of the five Auto-Negotiation RJ-45 ports (Port 1 to Port 4) of the switch support the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af compliant Powered Devices (PDs).
- Overload Arrangement
- The TL-SF1005P has the priority function which will help protect the system when power is overloaded. If all PoE PDs power consumption exceeds 58W, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports and the system will cut off power to the lowest-priority port.
- Port Priority Function
- This function means that power to Port 4 will be cut off when total PoE PDs power consumption exceeds 58W. For an example, if Ports 1, 2 and 4 are using 15.4W each, total system power is 46.2W. If an additional 12W PD is connected to Port 3, the system will cut off PoE power to Port 4 because the total would exceed 58W.
- Easy to Use
- The TL-SF1005P is easy to install and use. It requires no configuration and installation. With desktop design, enhanced performance, and quality, the TP-Link's TL-SF1005P 5-Port 10/100 Mb/s Desktop Switch with 4-Port PoE is an ideal choice for expanding your home or office network.
