Product description Consuming less power than comparable switches, the TL-SG1048 48-Port Gigabit Switch from TP-Link is designed to reduce the power constraints placed on your network. In addition to enhanced energy saving capabilities, this 48-port switch is designed to handle data intensive tasks while keeping multiple users connected all at the same time. With plug-and-play installation, connected clients can connect to the network quickly, and with a 96 Gbps switching capacity, the TL-SG1048 is capable of providing enough bandwidth to handle streaming multimedia content, transferring large files, and much more. This TP-Link switch also comes equipped with auto-negotiation on each port allowing the switch to tailor the bandwidth to suit the needs of each connected device. - TP-Link Green Technology
- The TL-SG1048 48-Port Gigabit Rackmount Switch features innovative energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand your network capacity with much less power. It automatically adjusts power consumption according to the link status to limit the carbon footprint of your network. It also complies with the EU's RoHS, prohibiting the use of certain hazardous materials. Additionally, 80% of the packaging material can be recycled.

- All 48 ports support Gigabit Ethernet connectivity making it simple to transfer even large files. With a non-blocking switching architecture, the TL-SG1048 forwards and filters packets at full wire speed for maximum throughput while the 10K Jumbo frame significantly improves performance when transferring large files. Built-in IEEE 802.3x flow control for Full Duplex mode and back pressure for Half Duplex mode help to alleviate the traffic congestion to increase network reliability.

- The TL-SG1048 supports plug-and-play connectivity making installation simple. With auto MDI/MDIX there is no more need for crossover cables and with auto-negotiation on each port the switch senses the speed of connected devices and adjusts the bandwidth accordingly.
