Product description Connect a variety of Ethernet enabled devices to your existing wired network with the TL-SG108 8-Port 10/100/1000 Mb/s Desktop Switch from TP-Link. Equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, this unmanaged switch is compatible with IEEE 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3u, and 802.3i networking standards. Support for 802.1p helps to prioritize latency-sensitive traffic such as voice, video, and gaming, while IGMP snooping helps optimize multicast traffic. The TL-SG108 comes with an array of power-savings features that are designed to cut energy consumption based the number of ports in use and cable length, while the unit's fanless design helps to ensure quiet operation. The steel-housed switch can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall. - Simple Setup
- The TL-SG108 boasts a plug-and-play design, with no configuration required, while auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device and adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
- Power-Saving Features
- The TL-SG108 is designed to conserve power by automatically detecting the link status of each port and reducing the power consumption of ports that are idle, resulting in an up to 82% reduction of power use. The switch also adjusts its power budget depending on the length of the cables you're using.

- 802.1p and DSCP QoS helps smooth the flow of latency-sensitive traffic such as voice and video, while IGMP snooping optimizes the multicast data stream.
