Product description Designed to provide you with an on-board monitor and all the accessories required to mount the monitor to an ARRI ALEXA/AMIRA, the 7" RainbowHD7 On-Board Monitor ALEXA/AMIRA Package from Transvideo includes a Transvideo Rainbow HD7 with mounting and power cables from transvideo that fits into a Pelican case with custom cut foam. The 7" on-camera monitor features a slim design and is made out of a precision machined fully sealed aluminum housing with no fans, and hence no fan noise to interfere with your shot.
The mounting hardware includes Transvideo's 3D Swing Arm that features a 3/8"-16 threaded mount that matches the Alexa's mounting system, a U-shaped handle for holding the monitor, a sun hood for using the monitor in exterior or bright locations, one BNC and one HDMI cable, and a Transvideo RS3 power cable. All this packs into a custom-foamed Pelican case to keep your package safe during transport and storage. - 7" RainbowHD7 On-Board Monitor The Transvideo 7” RainbowHD7 On-Board Monitor is slim and rugged, with precision machined aluminum housing fully sealed (no holes, no noisy fans). It also features an anti reflective glass protecting the screen and high quality connectors.
A new concept has been introduced of working in the RainbowHD. Each job has its specific view, showing the image with a specific set of tools: no need to navigate in deep menus to find the right tools.
The screen measures 7” diagonal. The regular model features 450Nits, suggested for studios and interiors as well as low budget applications.
The RainbowHD7 includes Screen Protective Cover, Microfiber Cloth and Bag, 4.5GHz HDTV BNC Cable (1m), and Printed Documentation.
The 4.5GHz HDTV BNC Cable (1m) is a high performance 4.5GHz HDTV cable with certified HD BNC male connectors. Each cable is individually tested at 3GHz. - Inputs / Outputs

- 4.5 GHz 3G-SDI BNC to BNC Cable (3.3') The 3.3' long 4.5 GHz 3G-SDI BNC to BNC Cable from Transvideo is a high-performance HDTV cable tested at 3 GHz for 3G-SDI signal transmission. This cable features certified HD BNC connectors.
- Heavy-Duty 3D Swing Arm for ARRI Alexa The Transvideo Heavy-Duty 3D Swing Arm is designed for mounting the 6 and 8" CineMonitorHD Monitors to ARRI Alexa cameras. The slide on the top features a clamp that allows you to attach the monitor via the bottom slide, its back, or any extra slide. It features a progressive tie-down knob for easy attachment. The arm attaches to the Alexa camera via a special 3/8"-16 male thread with positive locking on the bottom that prevents rotation. Thanks to the die-cast stainless steel body, it fits perfectly and securely on the side or on the handle of the camera. Note: A 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 male step-down adapter will be required for attaching to cameras with 1/4"-20 thread.
- U-Shape Handle for RainbowHD Monitors The Transvideo U-Shape Handle for RainbowHD Monitors is an extra handle for the monitor and directly snaps onto it with three M4 pins.
- 5.8" Deluxe Hood The Transvideo 5.8" Deluxe Hood is a collapsible custom sunshade hood specifically designed for the 5.8" widescreen LCDs. This sunshade will provide shading to the screen when using the monitor in direct sunlight, brightly lit conditions, or any situation where light spilling might be an issue. The cover can be attached without the bottom section if equipment deems it necessary.
- HDMI Type A to Mini HDMI Type C Cable (3.3') The 3.3' HDMI Type A to Mini HDMI Type C Cable from Transvideo features gold-plated connectors.
- XLR4 Female to RS3 Power Cable (24") The Transvideo XLR4 Female to RS3 Power Cable (24") enables a Cine HD monitor, which has a 4 pin XLR power input, to be powered from 24v Arriflex cameras.
