Product description The TEG-S82g 8-Port Gigabit GREENnet Switch from TRENDnet features eight Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast, secure transfer of data. Take advantage of enhanced data transfer speeds of up to 2,000 Mbps in full-duplex mode providing sufficient network bandwidth for activities such as streaming HD content, transferring large files, streaming music and more.
This TRENDnet switch also comes equipped with 16 Gbps switching capacity for advanced network configurations. A 16 Gbps switching capacity offers better total throughput than broadcast networks as the traffic is spread across multiple physical links rather than direct connections throughout the network. The 256 KB data RAM buffer helps to ensure a smooth flow of data by allowing for timing corrections within the data stream. - GREENnet Technology reduces power consumption
