Product description With the TEW-739APBO 2.4 GHz PoE Access Point from TRENDnet it is simple to extend the reach of your wireless network outdoors. This access point comes IP67 weather rated to help protect against the elements and comes equipped with a single Fast Ethernet PoE compatible network port. Additionally, the access point requires antennas (sold separately) in order to function; the antennas can be connected to the dual N-Type female antenna connectors.
This TRENDnet access point supports a variety of operating modes including AP, WDS, repeater, and CPE+AP modes making it a versatile networking device. Once configured, the AP supports 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency allowing nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to connect to the network. The wireless connection is secured using WEP and WPA encryption and can be divided up using up to 7 individual SSIDs. - Antennas, sold separately, are required in order to function (model TEW-AO57 or TEW-AO46S)
- Supports Access Point (AP), Wireless Distribution System (WDS), Repeater, and CPE+AP modes
- Compliant with 802.11n/g/b technology (2.4 GHz) with data rates up to 300 Mbps
- Durable aluminum enclosure with an IP67 outdoor weather rating
- Comes with a proprietary PoE injector, so that it can connect a regular non-PoE switch
- Real time logs and statistics help troubleshooting
- Support for wireless encryption of up to WPA2
- Create up to seven additional SSIDs
