Product description - IO-RL Lighting Stud Quick-Change Coupler
This Lighting Stud Quick-Change Coupler by Triad-Orbit is a full-size quick-change coupler designed specifically for photo, video, film, and lighting support. It's a hassle-free connection method for lights, flash heads, and modifiers that replaces screw-in attachment with fast, secure snap-in mounting with no torsion or spin.Simply slip the IO-RL coupler body over the stand's stud. Use the provided hex wrench to tighten the included hex screws on the IO-RL coupler body to the stand stud. Next, tighten the hex screw on the light or fixture to attach the IO-RL's IO-H5 hex mounting head. To connect this IO-H5-equipped fixture to the IO-RL, simply align the shaft of the IO-5 with the IO-RL and push to insert and automatically lock. To release just pull down on the IO-RL's release sleeve.
