Product description The 3x24 Compact ACOG Riflescope from Trijicon features a battery-free illuminated ballistic reticle and a durable waterproof housing to create a versatile weapon sight that is well-suited for use in a wide range of weather and lighting conditions. This Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) sight is outfitted with a green horseshoe reticle that has bullet drop compensation stadia on the lower vertical hair that are specifically calibrated for 55 grain .223 caliber ballistics. Anti-reflection broadband fully multi-coated optics maximizes light transmission to provide bright and clear views with limited distortion.
Trijicon's battery-free dual-illumination reticle system employs a tritium phosphor lamp for low-light and night targeting, as well as a fiber optic illumination that automatically adjusts reticle brightness when operating in daylight. The reticle's aiming point can be adjusted in 1/2 MOA increments, and an internal adjustment mechanism allows the ACOG to reliably hold zero. This ACOG is outfitted with the M16 carry handle adapter and mounting screw for easy installation. Complementing the ACOG's optical system and caliber-specific ballistic reticle is a nitrogen-filled, aluminum housing with a scratch and corrosion-resistant hard-anodized matte-black finish that provides the durability needed for reliable performance in a wide range of shooting conditions. Mounting bosses are integrated into the housing near the eyepiece to allow the easy addition of a Trijicon RMR, available separately, with the RM54 mount, which also must be purchased separately. - Optical Performance
