Product description Trijicon designed the 3x24 TA50 XB ACOG Crossbow Scope to be an invaluable optic for precision crossbow hunting. The green chevron reticle integrates Bad River Outdoors' patented deer/elk ranging system. This system features markers on the upper half of the reticle that enables the user to quickly estimate the range to the elk or deer, then move the aiming point on the lower axis based on the matching hold-over stadia. The reticle is designed for use out to 80yd and calibrated for the specific ballistic drop of 400-440+ fps bolts to further ensure accurate ranging and hold-over. Trijicon's battery-free dual-illumination reticle system employs a tritium phosphor lamp for low-light use, as well as a fiber optic illumination that focuses, channels, and filters available light to illuminate the reticle. Using ambient light ensures that the reticle brightness will be appropriate for the conditions without any adjustment by the user.The TA50 offers a 3x magnification to bring subjects in-close for ranging, while maintaining a field of view that doesn't restrict situational awareness. As with most of the sights in the ACOG line, it was designed for use with the both-eyes-open Bindon Aiming Concept for use at closer ranges or when fast shots are required. The smaller 24mm objective helps to reduce overall weight and provides a lower-profile over larger objectives, and to help boost image brightness Trijicon employs anti-reflection broadband fully multicoated optics that maximize light transmission with limited distortion. The reticle's aiming point can be adjusted at a rate of 9 clicks per inch at 30 yd with the tactical turrets enabling shot corrections without the need for tools. Complementing the ACOG's optical and illumination systems is a nitrogen-filled, 7075-T6 aluminum housing with a corrosion and scratch-resistant matte black anodized finish that provides the durability needed for reliable performance in a wide range of conditions. - Optical Performance
