Product description The H&K .45 Bright & Tough Night Sight Set with illuminated green front and rear dots from Trijicon is a three-dot iron sight designed to assist target acquisition and improve accuracy in any lighting condition. A green tritium phosphor lamp is used in both the front and rear sight, providing contrast against muzzle flash and allowing operator's eyes to visibly acquire the illuminated dots in daylight, low light, or no light. The edges of the phosphorescent gas lamps are ringed in white to further enhance daylight visibility of the sights. This configuration of the Bright & Tough Night Sight is specifically machined to fit Heckler & Koch .45 firearms, and is engineered to withstand the force of rapid firing and intense recoil from .45 caliber rounds. Note: Professional installation recommended. - Tritium Phosphor Illumination
- Battery-free tritium phosphor lamps self-illuminate in low-light and no light. Both the front and rear sights also have a white ring around the lamp window to enhance daylight visibility and contrast. Trijicon warrants their green phosphor lamps for a period of 12 years from the date of manufacture.
- Protective Aluminum Cylinders
- The tritium phosphor gas is protected by an aluminum housing and sealed with a sapphire jewel window that also protects the lamp while evenly transmitting the emitted light.
- Silicon Rubber Cushion
- Rubber polymer shock-mounting suspends the aluminum gas lamp housing within the machined steel body, absorbing shock and ensuring reliability even after intense recoil.
