Product description With a narrow front sight for an expanded field of view and a more precise sight picture, the Trijicon Springfield Armory HD XR Night Sight Set is designed for advanced target identification and engagement at increased distances. Its front sight outline is photoluminescent orange and its three dots are green, illuminated by Trijicon's tritium phosphor lamps. The narrow front sight enhances the ability to identify targets, expedite engagements and see location of hits on target at longer distances. The tritium lamps require no batteries and are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture. Sapphire jewels cap the lamps to distribute light for better visibility, as well as keeping contaminants out of the lamps. The front surface of the rear sight is steeply hooked to assist in emergency one-handed slide operation. Trijicon recommends professional installation. -
