Product description The PE 1C is a single channel passive equalizer, with a tube based push-pull amplifier for restoring gain. A passive equalizer is variable equalizer requiring no power to operate. Consisting only of inductors, capacitors and resistors, it is favored for its low noise performance (no active components to generate noise), high dynamic range (no active power supplies to limit voltage swing), extremely good reliability, and lack of RFI interference. The equalizer provides low-frequency boost and attenuation, along with high frequency boost with variable bandwidth, and high-frequency attenation. To compensate for the inevitable gain loss, the filter section of the PE 1C is followed by a tube based amplifier. The input and output transformers come with a static screen between primary and secondary wiring, and the input and output are balanced and fully floating. - Passive equalizer with tube push-pull tube amplifier
- Very low noise and broad frequency response
- Master bypass with clickless relay
