Product description The black Athens TCS212B Dual 12" Band Pass Subwoofer from Turbosound is a 3,200W high performance dual 12" subwoofer system that is ideally suited for a wide range of speech and music sound reinforcement applications. Engineered to work in conjunction with Turbosound loudspeaker management systems, the TCS212B provides very high output, extended low-frequency performance from a compact enclosure.
The dual-port band pass design ensures symmetrical high-velocity and low-turbulence airflow that yields reduced distortion both in the port and the drivers, which are loaded by identical compartments in a force-cancelling arrangement. Each of TCS212B's two high-excursion 12" low-frequency drivers utilize a specialized voice coil wound on both the inside and outside of the coil former for higher magnetic density, better heat dissipation, higher power-handling capacity, and improved efficiency. The subwoofer generates ample amounts of high-definition bass energy in a space-saving form factor, regardless of its position in the room.
Finished in a highly durable semi-matte black paint, the cabinet is constructed from 0.6" (15.0mm) birch plywood with integral M10 threaded rigging points. The rear connection plate carries a Neutrik speakON NL4 connector and a barrier strip connector for input and link connections to additional enclosures. - Dual band pass subwoofer for installation applications
