Product description The NuQ-6 2-Way 6.5" Full Range Loudspeaker from Turbosound is a passive full range two-way loudspeaker system designed to be used with Turbosound LMS series digital loudspeaker management systems. NuQ systems can be controlled over a BVNet network using TurboDrive control software.
The NuQ-6 consists of a front loaded 6.5" neodymium LF driver and a 1" neodymium HF compression driver on a rotatable 90° H x 60° V converging elliptical waveguide, matched with an internal passive crossover network in a reflex-loaded enclosure, giving excellent pattern control and allowing a swap of horizontal and vertical coverage patterns. The trapezoidal enclosure is uniquely formed out of pre-bent plywood, which entirely eliminates four cabinet joints and provides additional benefits of superior strength, low weight and reduced internal reflections. The symmetrical shape creates an additional role as mirrored left/right monitor wedges.
The cabinet includes a steel mesh grille backed with foam backing that is finished in black textured paint and includes rigging points for use with optional flying yokes and wall brackets. The rear panel connector plate carries two Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors for loop in and loop out connections to additional enclosures. - 2-way full range loudspeaker for portable PA applications
- 200 W continuous, 800 W peak power
- Ideal for FOH, side fill and monitor applications
- 6.5" low frequency driver with low mass voice coil for improved transient response
- Neodymium 1" HF compression driver
- Rotatable converging elliptical waveguide provides 90° H x 60° V dispersion
- 1/2" (12 mm) birch plywood enclosure with hard wearing semi matt black paint finish
- Powder coated perforated steel grille foam backing
- Multiple rigging points compatible with Turbosound and OmniMount brackets
