Product description The TCS-C35T 3.5" Two-Way Full-Range Ceiling Loudspeaker with Line Transformer from Turbosound is a high quality, full-range, passive two-way ceiling loudspeaker consisting of a high excursion 3.5" low-frequency driver with a high temperature voice coil, and a 1" ferrofluid cooled neodymium high-frequency soft dome tweeter, matched with an internal passive crossover network, in a paintable ABS ceiling frame with a perforated mesh grille. The TCS-C35T has a usable frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz and features a wide, conical 150° dispersion pattern suitable for all background music and speech applications.
The loudspeaker's metal rear housing is an integral part of the sealed enclosure, and is small enough to allow a mounting depth of less than 4". The sealed chamber gives low-frequency performance, while the low-distortion and high-frequency waveguide is designed to increase output and ensure even dispersion. It is supplied with an internal line transformer with multiple taps for 70V and 100V line systems as well as a 16 ohms low-impedance setting, which can be selected via a rotary switch located on the front baffle behind the speaker grille. The TCS-C35T is supplied with a universal ceiling-mount system, consisting of two tile rails and a 'C' plate, designed to fit into European or North American ceiling grids. The TCS-C35T conforms to BS5839 fire prevention standards, as well as IEC/EN60849. - Compact two-way full-range ceiling loudspeaker for installation applications
