Layout arrangements range from straightforward ones such as quad-split, picture-in-picture, and side-by-side, to more complex multi-layer setups. There are seven video inputs in total: four HDMI inputs, supporting up to Ultra HD 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps; two DisplayPort inputs, supporting up to Ultra HD 4K at 60 fps; and one VGA input, supporting up to 1080p60 and (WUXGA). There is one HDMI output which is automatically up/down-scalable and capable of up to Ultra HD 4K at 30 fps output. In addition to the video connections, the Multiviewer features seven independent 3.5mm stereo analog audio inputs that allow you to embed/de-embed separate audio. On the output side, there's a digital TOSLINK and four 3.5mm stereo audio outputs, all simultaneously active, HDMI included. Surround 7.1 audio is supported from an HDMI source. Audio follows video and the preferred HDMI source for audio output are selectable via the system menu. The 3.5mm audio inputs and outputs are also paired within the menu.
