- Twelve South AirFly Tutorial
The Twelve South AirFly is a Bluetooth transmitter that lets you listen to audio from any 3.5mm-wired source with your Apple AirPods, or with other compatible wireless headphones. From the treadmill at the gym to the clock radio in the kitchen and more, the AirFly plugs into the 3.5mm headphone jacks on these devices and transmits sound, over Bluetooth, to your AirPods, PowerBeats, or other wireless headphones.
In many cases, pairing the device is as simple as holding down the AirFly's sole button while engaging in the prescribed pairing practices of your wireless headphones. With Apple's AirPods, however, you simply press the button on the AirFly till it flashes, then do the same with the open charging case of the AirPods as the earbuds rest inside; when the light on the AirPod case turns green, you're good to go.
A 3.5mm cable is included to plug your AirFly into your preferred entertainment system. A charging cable is also on hand to recharge the transmitter over USB.
