The Strike Finder Pro Camera Trigger for Select Pentax Cameras from Ubertronix is a camera trigger system that fires your camera automatically in reaction to two distinct prompts--light and laser beam disruption-- and it can control your camera to shoot time-lapse sequences. The Strike Finder Pro attaches to the hot shoe of your camera and connects via a dedicated cable to your camera's remote port. The trigger will activate your camera to shoot upon detecting lightning (or other light flash), or when a laser beam is interrupted. Upon detection of the various prompts, the Strike Finder Pro sends a signal to your camera to release the shutter. The camera will shoot within 45-60 milliseconds, providing you with photos that are nearly impossible to take with our own hand-eye reaction. Time-lapse sequences can be created by using the intervalometer which is also housed in the Strike Finder Pro and can be set to shoot in time increments ranging from 1 second to 10 minutes.The Strike Finder Pro with the CS205 cable is compatible with the following cameras: Pentax K20D, K200D, K10D, K100D. Note: An external laser pointer is required to utilize the laser trigger function.
