Product description The AirFiberX PTP Kit from Ubiquiti Networks is composed of two AF-2X-US radios and two AF-2G24-S45 antennas. The airFiber X allows you to customize airFiber backhaul links or upgrade existing rocket Point-to-Point (PtP) links. The 2.4 GHz unit features a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port and a 10/100 Ethernet port. These radios feature a throughput of 525 Mb/s and innovative xtreme Range Technology (xRT) for up to 200+ km in range. These radios are powered using Passive PoE with the 24V, 1A PoE Gigabit adapter (included). - 2 x Ubiquiti Networks airFiber AF-2X 2 GHz Carrier Backhaul Radio The airFiber AF-2X 2 GHz Carrier Backhaul Radio from Ubiquiti Networks is designed for long-range, Point-to-Point (PtP) backhaul links. It features a high TDD throughput and Hybrid Division Duplexing (HDD) technology that helps the device achieve low latency. The airFiber 2X also allows users to customize backhaul links or upgrade existing PtP links.
The airFiber AF-2X operates using the 2 GHz frequency band and features a range of 656,168' / 200,000m. Included with this device is a GPS antenna mount, an external GPS antenna, a metal strap, two cable ties, a 24V/1A airFiber PoE adapter with a mounting bracket, and a power cord. - Performance
- Ubiquiti's INVICTUS silicon and radio architecture are designed specifically for long-distance, outdoor wireless applications. Their INVICTUS core communications processing engine surpasses virtually all of the limitations inherent to generic Wi-Fi chips to help provide superior performance, long-range capability, DFS flexibility, and power output.
- Backhaul
- The 2.4 GHz frequency band is free to use, worldwide; and with its proprietary protocol, the AF‑2X increases both range and delivered throughput in this popular band.
- Operation in Unlicensed Bands
- Channel width flexibility (10/20/30/40/50 MHz) allows independent TX and RX channel frequency configurations virtually anywhere within the radio band to avoid local interference, and the channel centers are selectable in 1 MHz increments. You also have the ability to program different uplink and downlink duty cycles to support asymmetric traffic requirements
- Low Latency with HDD Technology
- The airFiber X is designed to provide the highest TDD throughput and lowest latency available using proprietary Hybrid Division Duplexing (HDD) technology.
- Co-Location
- With tower space at a premium, the importance of being able to co-locate equipment is becoming an essential attribute for modern wireless networks. The airFiber X is engineered to permit multiple radios to operate side by side, allowing maximum spectral efficiency.
- GPS Synchronization
- Precise GPS frame synchronization enables co-located airFiber X radios to transmit and receive data without interfering with each other, enabling better frequency reuse and increased network stability.
- Clean Power Output
- Using advanced digital signal processing, the innovative airFiber X radio design has an ultra -clean transmitter output, reducing broadband noise, facilitating co-location, and enabling higher-order modulations like 256QAM for greater throughput.
UPC: 810354023392 - 2 x Ubiquiti Networks AF-2G24-S45 24 dBi Antenna for airFiber X 2.4 GHz Carrier Backhaul Radio The AF-2G24-S45 24 dBi Antenna for airFiber X 2.4 GHz Carrier Backhaul Antenna from Ubiquiti Networks is designed to be paired with an airFiber X radio as part of a large point-to-point network. By integrating this antenna into your network setup you benefit from increased performance on the 2.4 GHz frequency. With a 2x2 dual-polarity antenna configuration, the antenna/radio configuration is perfect for handling high-density network traffic. The rugged external housing ensures the antenna can withstand harsh weather conditions, while plug-and-play setup eliminates the need for special tools during installation.
- Performance
- The airFiber X antenna delivers 2x2 dual-polarity performance. The airFiber X antenna along with an airFiber X radio can be deployed as endpoints in a backhaul link to deliver bandwidth from a WISP network out to a neighborhood tower. From there, an airMAX Sector antenna with a Rocket radio delivers bandwidth to the WISP's customers.
- Carrier-Class Construction
- Incorporating a dish reflector design for improved beam directivity, the airFiber X antennas feature enhanced mechanical design using industrial-strength hardware for outdoor application use.
- Plug-and-Play Integration
- airFiber X antennas and airFiber X radios have been designed to seamlessly work together. Every airFiber X antenna has a built-in airFiber X radio mount, so installation requires no special tools. Snap the airFiber X radio securely into place and mount the antenna; you then have the optimal combination of airFiber X antenna and airFiber X radio for your PtP application.
- Mechanical Design
- • Secure Pole-Mounting maintains the position of the dish during harsh outdoor conditions.
• Low-Profile Form Factor of the AF-5G23-S45 Reduces wind-loading. - Weatherproof Design
- • Protective Shroud protects the cables and connectors from the elements.
