Product description An ideal foundation for a WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) deployment, the EdgeSwitch 10XP 10-Port Gigabit PoE Switch from Ubiquiti comes equipped with a pair of fiber-optic SPF ports and eight 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports. Each of the EdgeSwitch 10XP's Ethernet ports offers 15W of passive PoE output, good for powering antennas or other network devices. Manageable over a browser-based interface, the wall- or rack-mountable EdgeSwitch 10XP is designed to deliver up to 10 Gb/s of total non-blocking throughput, up to 20 Gb/s switching capacity, and a 14.88 Mpps forwarding rate. Powered by an external AC/DC adapter, the EdgeSwitch 10XP's DC jack supports battery backup via Ubiquiti's optional EdgePower PSU. - Optimized for WISP Deployments
- The EdgeSwitch 10XP's eight Gigabit RJ45 ports offer copper connectivity with 24V PoE output, while two SFP ports offer fiber connectivity, making it ideal for WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) deployments.
- Switching Performance
- Boasting a total, non-blocking throughput of up to 10 Gb/s, the EdgeSwitch offers the forwarding capacity to simultaneously process traffic on all ports at line rate without any packet loss, as well as an extensive suite of Layer 2 switching features and protocols.
- Fiber Connectivity
- With its two fiber-optic SFP ports, the EdgeSwitch provides up to 1 Gb/s uplinks.
- PoE Support
- To simplify your infrastructure, the EdgeSwitch 10XP offers configurable 24V passive PoE on all RJ45 ports.
- Browser-Based Management
- Management is available via a browser-based configuration or the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS), which is a comprehensive management controller. You can use a single control plane to manage registered EdgeMAX devices across multiple networks and sites.
- Comprehensive User Interface
- The EdgeSwitch Configuration Interface allows you to configure and monitor switch features in a graphical user interface. It offers intuitive management with a virtual view of the ports, showing physical connectivity, speed, and PoE status.
