Product description The 4-port ER-4 EdgeRouter with EdgeMAX Technology from Ubiquiti Networks is capable of supporting numerous high-bandwidth clients in an enterprise environment with the ability to support up to 3.4 million packets per second along with a line rate of 4 Gb/s.
Managing this switch and the network it resides on is simple, thanks to a variety of management tools including DHCP server capabilities, monitoring tools such as ping, trace, discover, and the ability to set up and configure operator and admin user accounts. To secure the network, Ubiquiti has implemented a variety of features including advanced firewall policies and groups as well as NAT rules for specific packet addressing.
Installation of this EdgeRouter is simple, as it comes compatible with a standard rackmount design. Once installed, Ubiquiti offers intuitive management features including an easy-to-use interface complete with graphical menus that can be accessed through a web browser. Additional tools include support of OSPF, RIP, and BGP routing protocols, firewall policies, DHCP services, Quality of Service (QoS) support, and much more. - Advanced Routing Technology for the Masses
- The Ubiquiti Networks EdgeRouter 4 combines carrier class reliability with enterprise level features in a compact and affordable unit. The EdgeRouter 4 offers Gigabit Ethernet ports and an SFP port for a fiber link. The EdgeRouter 4 is also capable of routing up to 3.4 million packets per second and has a line rate of 4 Gb/s.
Powered by a proprietary and intuitive graphical interface, EdgeOS, EdgeRouters can easily be configured for routing, security, and management features required to efficiently run your network. For advanced network professionals, an integrated CLI is available for quick and direct access using familiar commands.
Even greater convenience and flexibility is provided by the UNMS app, which makes it possible to manage the EdgeRouter remotely from your mobile device. - Manage Your Network

Mobile App
The UNMS app allows you to manage the EdgeRouter using your mobile device. The app can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Once the UNMS app is installed on your mobile device, simply connect to a wireless network that has access to the EdgeRouter, discover the EdgeRouter, and log into its configuration interface. You can display and configure various settings, such as interface information, throughput per port, system settings, and more.
