Product description This Nucleus 2 Studio Desk from Ultimate Support is designed to be the modular foundation of an expandable workspace that grows right alongside your home-studio setup. As such, it’s ideal for pro-audio denizens looking for a centerpiece desk they don’t have to replace, but rather, can outfit as they amass more and better gear. This configuration of the Nucleus Series concept provides a work-surface for gear such as studio monitors, or a host computer/sequencer, etc. In addition to the primary work surface, this configuration comes with a 2nd tier, on which you could place extra monitors (useful for editing) or, conversely, your speakers. A sturdy keyboard tray has also been provided, giving you a home for your typing keyboard or a small to medium-sized MIDI controller. The desk features 12" extensions, as well as legs which have been constructed to bolster sonic isolation and decoupling. Channels in the legs not only help with decoupling, but also aid in weight management. The desk is constructed out of powder-coated medium-density fiberboard.
