• ULTRAPOWER UXDS-1 Digital Underwater Strobe Head The ULTRAPOWER UXDS-1 Digital Underwater Strobe Head from ULTRAMAX is a flash with a depth rating of 180'. It offers a guide number of 65.6' at ISO 100 (on land), a power rating of approximately 25 Watt-sec, a coverage angle of 60°, and a daylight-balanced color temperature of 5700K. There are 5 pre-flash settings to synchronize with the built-in flash of most digital compact cameras. Choose from power/brightness output levels of 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. The strobe also has slave functionality, allowing it to be triggered by the firing of another flash. Color-coded LED indicators tell you the selected pre-flash and flash output modes. The UXDS-1 runs on 4 AA batteries, which are available separately and are housed in a compartment that's completely isolated from the electronics in order to prevent water damage to the strobe if the compartment is accidentally opened or batteries are changed when the unit is still wet from a dive. Additionally, the strobe has a durable housing made of corrosion-resistant polycarbonate.

  Modes
  • There are 5 pre-flash settings to synchronize with the built-in flash of most digital compact cameras. Additionally, there are 4 output levels: 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. The strobe also has a flash test button. Benefit from manual exposure control.
  Flash Triggering
  • Twin slave sensors allow strobe to be triggered wirelessly by another flash, such as the camera's built-in one. When either sensor detects light from a flash, the strobe fires instantly. You can also purchase an optional fiber-optic connector and cable for triggering.
  Color-Coded LED Indicators
  • Tell you the selected pre-flash and flash output modes. A blinking LED indicates low power.

• Coiled Fiber-Optic Cable Kit (3.3') Connect your underwater housing and strobe with this 3.3' Coiled Fiber-Optic Cable Kit from ULTRAMAX. Standard-size plug-in connectors at both ends allow you to easily attach a wide variety of strobes, such as the ULTRAPOWER UXDS-1 or UXDS-3, to various underwater compact camera housings, such as the UXDV-3. The connectors are also compatible with Sea & Sea-type fiber-optic cable ports. • ULTRAPOWER-II 6W LED Wide-Angle Video Dive Light The ULTRAPOWER-II 6W LED Wide-Angle Video Dive Light from ULTRAMAX features a depth rating of 180'. It has three 1W LEDs and one 3W LED, for a total of 6W. Two power control buttons offer 8 output level selection settings ranging from 120-500 lumens. The light provides a beam angle of 55° and a daylight-balanced color temperature of 5700K. The one-touch on/off push-button control features an LED indicator that blinks when power is low. Built for durability, the ULTRAPOWER-II is enclosed in a corrosion-resistant polycarbonate housing and has a protective thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket on the light head. A triple-ring seal provides maximum leak protection. Additionally, a double O-ring seal around the battery cap and a sealed battery compartment keep any moisture completely isolated from the electronic modules--ensuring that the light does not sustain damage if the battery compartment takes in water and making safe battery replacement a worry-free task. The light is powered by 4 AA alkaline or NiMH batteries, which are available separately and provide a run time of 1.5 hr at full power. A detachable handle offers a comfortable, secure grip, and is supplied with the required mounting screw. Also included is a soft wrist lanyard with a quick-release lock.

• 9.5" Flex Arm with Foam Grip for Underwater Light or Strobe This 9.5" Flex Arm with Foam Grip from ULTRAMAX features a standard YS connector on the top for light connection and a C-1 type connector on the base for mounting onto a tray. It is compatible with their ULTRAPOWER UXDS-1 Digital Underwater Strobe Head and ULTRAPOWER-II 6W LED Wide-Angle Video Dive Light. It allows you to mount your strobe above and to the side of the camera's lens to reduce or eliminate glare and the backscatter effect. The versatile arm is articulated for easy positioning of the strobe head or LED light, and the neoprene foam cover provides a comfortable grip. The flex arm can easily be installed on ULTRAMAX'S UXST-1 Strobe Tray.
  
  The arm's knuckles/joints are precision-formed out of acetal copolymer, allowing for stiffness coupled with maximum flexibility. The base is made of anodized, marine-grade aluminum and has a thumb screw connection for easy, secure mounting on the strobe tray.
