Product description The Ultrasone Edition 8 EX Headphones use the S-Logic EX technology that projects the sound produced by the decentralized sound transducer by means of an elaborate funnel structure and targets this towards the unique structure of the ear muscle that is responsible for spatial sound. The result of this is a perception of a 3-dimensional sound similar to a concert hall, jazz club, or an arena.The high-gloss, chrome-plated earcups are coated with a wear-resistant PVD (physical deposition of a thin, hard coating in the vapor phase) material. The connection mounts on the ear cups bear polished ceramic inlays engraved with the Ultrasone logo. The ear cushions are secured to the ear cups by magnetic force and can be reliably and easily detached. The ear cushions are made of soft, dark grey Ethiopian long-haired sheep leather. The same leather also covers the cushioning on the headband, which is crafted from solid aluminum.A LEMO connector provides a secure connection between the ear cup and the audio source via a 9.8' connection cable with a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo jack. A 6.3mm adapter can be attached to the 3.5mm stereo jack. Thanks to the LEMO-connector’s 4-pin design, the Edition 8 EX is also suitable for providing balanced input when used with a pre-assembled connection cable. - High-gloss chrome-plated and PVD coated earcups
