Product description The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO Ultimate 7 enables professional power users to run demanding projects with high plug-in instances and/or high sample rates at low latency without burdening the computer's CPU. Both compact and portable, this desktop DSP accelerator is ideal for mixing with UAD plug-ins on your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac or Windows computer while on the road. Featuring eight SHARC processors, it supercharges your workstation and integrates with other UAD-2 devices including UAD-2 PCIe cards, other UAD-2 Satellites, and Apollo audio interfaces. Utilize its dual Thunderbolt ports for daisy-chaining Thunderbolt peripherals such as hard drives and displays. The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO allows you to create large professional mixes filled with rich analog emulation plug-ins, which may be difficult or impossible to achieve with native recording systems.The Ultimate 7 bundle comprises 99 UA-developed plug-in titles spanning across multiple categories, all compatible with Audio Units, AAX 64, RTAS, and VST plug-in formats. It features a library of authentic analog gear emulations developed in collaboration with iconic manufacturers such as Ampex, Lexicon, Neve, Manley, Fairchild, Studer, Fender, SSL, Empirical Labs, and more, using their exact original schematics and experienced ears.
