Product description The Backlight Reduction Filter from US NightVision is a snap-fit rubber eyecup that fits over the PVS-14 optics eyepiece. This filter reduces the symptoms of night vision blindness and/or significantly reduces eye fatigue when wearing night vision devices in total darkness. Note: Export of this device described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State office of Defense Trade Controls, as prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITARyrfxeycr), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulation, Parts 120-130, and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. For further information contact the Office of Defense Trade Control and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. - Block wavelengths of light that impair visual acuity and create eyestrain.
- Easily retro-fit to your night vision device without tools or optical system modifications.
- Minimize "green light splash" making the operator's face less visible in the field.
- Regulates wavelengths of light to minimize the visual sensations of blindness and overwhelming brightness caused by "green screens".
