Product description The US Night Vision Harris F5032 Lightweight 1x27 Night Vision Binocular packs a powerful NVD into a compact and lightweight package for stealth operations that require strict light discipline and unencumbered movement. This unmagnified optic has a 40° field of view and an exceptionally short 10-inch close focus distance so you can perform tasks while maintaining blackout conditions. Lens coatings not only maximize light transmission, but are also water repellent and dust, smudge, and scratch resistant. To further protect the objectives the F5032 come with a set of sacrificial front lenses, and a set of Demist Shields ensure condensation won't collect on your oculars in extreme conditions. An integrated IR illuminator can flood a large area in infrared light to allow you to see even in zero-light conditions such as in closed rooms. Built to withstand the rigors of combat and extreme environments, the chassis is made of a proprietary glass-reinforced Ultem thermoplastic that is heat, solvent, and flame resistant. It is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to a depth of 66 feet and resistant to internal fogging. An advanced sensor system detects when the binocular is in use and pointed directly up and won't shut off like other similar models, allowing its use while climbing a ladder, scaling a wall, or directing a chopper landing. As one would expect from a NVD the F5032 has manual or automatic brightness control, system indicators for when the illuminator is activated and low battery warning, and an auto shut-down that prevents damage to the intensifier tubes if a light is suddenly turned on. This NVD runs on a single included AA battery, and can easily be mounted on a helmet using an optional mount—and at just over one pound won't require a rear counterweight. The export of night vision equipment is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls, in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 120-130. - Performance
