Product description The PASGT Tactical Ballistic Helmet from US NightVision is manufactured from advanced thermoplastic aramid and glass fabric composites. These materials increase the level of protection while reducing the shell's weight to two pounds. This protective headgear features a brimless shell trim contour with an extra-wide eye-port opening that enhances peripheral vision while accommodating most gas masks and goggles. At the rear of the helmet, the neck trim line provides maximum protection while ensuring uninhibited movement when wearing ballistic vests with collars. Extruded neoprene rubber trim borders the entire helmet, which is finished with a protective scratch-resistant non-reflective flat paint. The retention system is built of tubular poly webbing reinforced with double bar tacked stitching in critical areas. The helmet is supplied with a fully adjustable, smooth slide lock system, and padded nape strap to insure a stable, secure fit. The ergonomic quick-release mounted on the left side of the helmet head permits easy on/off use without interference. The entire retention system is attached to the ballistic shell with a sturdy four-point flush bolt system, and a soft comfortable chin cup is included. The helmet's comfort fit system includes a set of wicking fit-pads that are constructed from a soft polypropylene outer material. The reticulated inner foam pad is designed to hold moisture for evaporation, which cools the wearer's head. All comfort-fit system pads are removable and washable. - Protection
