Product description The USNV Purge Kit is a portable and efficient means to simplify this required maintenance for a wide variety of night vision devices. This kit includes a pump, gauges, dry-nitrogen, and connection equipment. Straightforward and detailed instructions on how to properly purge your NVDs are included. Military maintenance personnel periodically purge night vision equipment as required by Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services (PMCS). Purging evacuates air from the night vision device and backfills the system with dry nitrogen. This procedure eliminates contaminants and moisture that can degrade optical performance. Note: This item is available to military and law-enforcement agencies only - Leak detection capability
