Product description Supporting a wide range of M2M (machine to machine) applications such as remote maintenance and control, point of sale, and monitoring and automation, the Courier Cellular 3G Modem/Wireless Router from US Robotics makes it easy to manage business applications and devices from virtually anywhere. This networking device is designed to work on most major 3G cellular networks including AT&T, Verizon, Spring, US Cellular, Aeris, T-Mobile, Bell Mobility, and Telus and supports 3G, 2G, and CDMA radio technologies.
On the Courier Cellular Modem/Router you will find dual antennas supporting both WWAN and GPS functionality along with a single Fast Ethernet port. The RS-232 Serial connection found below the Fast Ethernet port is designed to support serial based systems that may already be in use by various business applications. Once configured, network admins can implement a variety of security protocols including IPsec VPN functionality and firewall support to keep intruders out of the network.
