Product description With support for both V.92, V.22, and a variety of other networking protocols, the Serial Controller Dial-Up External Fax/Modem from US Robotics is designed for use with Point of Sale (PoS) systems and other devices suited to operate with a 56K modem. This external fax/modem comes equipped with an 8 position DIP switch, multiple LED status indicators, a DTE RS232/v.24-DB25 interface, and a RJ-11 phone line interface making for easy installation. Once installed users benefit from a variety of features including Modem on Hold (MoH) functionality making it possible to receive incoming calls while placing the modem on hold and fax functionality to allow for the sending and receiving of faxes through your computer. The Serial Controller Dial-Up External Fax/Modem is firmware upgradable to ensure you always have the latest updates to keep this modem operating smoothly. Advanced Features and Functionality - External DIP switches allows manual configuration of specific critical settings
