Product description The Vaddio EasyTalk USB Audio Bundle is a USB audio-conferencing solution for medium size rooms using PC-based unified communication applications that require ceiling installation. Both microphones and speakers are recessed in the ceiling. The system includes 2 EasyMic Ceiling MicPOD Microphones with integrated echo canceling and for extended coverage within the room, 1-pair (2) of Bose DS-16 Ceiling Speakers (white) with Tile Support Braces and Plenum Back Can to maximize sound distribution within the room, and 1 EasyUSB Mixer/Amp.
The EasyUSB Mixer/Amp is an integrated audio mixer and amplifier that connects to a PC as a single microphone and speaker channel. It supports up to 2 EasyTALK MicPOD microphones. In addition, analog line level I/O interfaces allow for integration with external AV equipment such as videoconferencing codecs, external amplifiers, or LCD displays. The EasyUSB Mixer/Amp also has a two 20W integrated audio amplifiers for connection to external 4/8 Ω speakers.
The EasyTALK USB uses a standard UAC driver, based on the guidelines set by the USB Implementers Forum, so you do not need to download any additional softwares or drivers. You just have to plug in each device, and they will work automatically with any operating system such as Windows, Mac, Linux, and many more. It’s completely driver-free, and is designed as plug-and-play audio solution for software-based conferencing systems.
The white EasyMic Ceiling MicPOD Microphone delivers professional audio quality for your PC system. Each MicPOD Microphone delivers the performance of 3 microphones built into a tabletop or pendant hanging enclosure. This echo canceling ceiling microphone provides a 360° pickup pattern.
With ultra wide 360° pickup coverage, 1 MicPOD Microphone is capable of providing good coverage for an average size meeting room table. For those larger tables a second MicPOD Microphone (sold separately) can be added for additional coverage.
Each microphone element is equipped with integrated echo cancellation and digital signal processing, including compression, equalization, filtering, and AGC (Automatic Gain Control). Because of the plug-and-play design, installation is as simple as connecting Cat. 5 cable between the EasyUSB Mixer Amp and the EasyMICs. Power, control and audio are all incorporated into the single cable.
The Bose DS-16 Speaker Kit is a high-performance, flush-mount loudspeaker kit optimized for voice reproduction when used with the EasyUSB Mixer/Amp.
