Product description The Vaddio IN-Ceiling Half-Recessed Enclosure for HD-20/19/18 PTZ Cameras allows you to mount a Vaddio HD-20, HD-19, or HD-18 PTZ camera upside-down in a ceiling tile, for a clean, discreet installation. The kit includes a shallow, sealed metal back can, a white trim ring, a one-piece tile support brace, and all necessary mounting hardware. With an IR emitter in the metal back can and an IR receiver in the trim ring, infrared signals can reach the ceiling-mounted camera for pan/tilt/zoom control. Power for the IR circuit comes from Vaddio QuickConnect SR or Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI SR interfaces; camera systems that do not have this interface will need to employ RS-232 control. - Enclosure & Built-In Trim Ring with Active IR Circuit
- The IN-Ceiling Enclosure has a built-in active IR receiver on the trim ring and an IR emitter on the inside of the back box. The IR circuit is powered by a Quick-Connect SR Interface or a Quick-connect DVI/HDMI SR Interface (not included) and ensures IR remote control compatibility of the camera and the IR forwarding feature of Quick-Connect systems
- Sealed Metal Back Box
- The shallow, sealed metal back box features a steel machined bezel ring and back box lid, which give the enclosure a high-quality look and feel. The enclosure even includes a 3/4" clamp-down conduit connector
- Flexible Mounting System
- The IN-Ceiling Half-Recessed Enclosure fits the Vaddio HD-19 and HD-18 camera systems and includes a height adapter for the HD-20 camera, which happens to be about 3/4" shorter than the HD-18 and HD-19
- Optional Accessory
- The enclosure is designed to be installed in a ceiling tile, but with the optional Recessed Installation Kit for IN-Ceiling Enclosure (sold separately), the enclosure can be installed in a gypsum board (drywall) or hardwood ceiling
