Product description The Vaddio PresenterPOD lets you conveniently access, from your position at a podium or whiteboard, the inputs and PTZ camera presets of the AutoPresenter. This PresenterPOD cosists of two components - the PresenterPOD itself and the PresenterPOD Interface, which is the unit that connects to the cameras.
Connected via a single Cat-5 cable, the PresenterPOD sends control signals to the PresenterPOD Interface to switch the video output through a connected switcher or automated camera control system: AutoPresenter, Hot-Shot, ProductionView, or ControlVIEW XHD. With two large and two small backlit silicone buttons, the PresenterPOD is extremely simple to operate, even for a non-technical user who's feeling the heat of a live presentation.
The two large, round, back-lit trigger buttons are nearly impossible for the presenter to miss. The smaller Vaddio logo button is backlit blue, and it turns red when triggered. Finally, the small square button can be used as a trigger or for the picture-in-picture on/off when using an AutoPresenter system. The PresenterPOD's Cat-5 connection to the interface also supplies power to the pod via Vaddio's EZCable standard.
Two RJ-45 jacks are provided, one on the rear and one on the bottom - only one is used at a time - for ease of installation in a variety of positions. Easy to install on a lectern or on a wall, the PresenterPOD also includes mounting hardware. - PresenterPOD Triggers
- Each PresenterPOD has four trigger outputs available on four buttons which, can be programmed to be momentary or latching type triggers, recall presets or adjust the PIP (on/off) within the presets of the AutoPresenter or other systems as well. These buttons are made of silicone rubber for a professional look and feel and are backlit for ease of trigger identification. The system is even shipped with small labels so that any instructor can operate an installed AutoPresenter presentation environment and know exactly what powerful A/V tools are at their fingertips.
- PresenterPOD Interface
- Within any presentation environment, there are commonly two active presentation areas; for example, the lectern position and the whiteboard. The PresenterPOD Interface can support two PresenterPODs allowing active control of up to eight presets on the AutoPresenter or other control systems. Logic for interaction between two PODs is supported.
- Easy to Install and Operate
- The Vaddio PresenterPOD is a simple product that works with any device that accepts trigger inputs including; Hot-Shot, ControlVIEW XHD, ProductionVIEW Consoles and of course, the AutoPresenter. Like all of the products listed above, the PresenterPOD is made in the USA.
