Product description Place your speakers in just the right location with this Digital Audio over Cat 6/5e Cable Extender Set from Vanco. This extender set allows you to connect an audio source such as a DVD player or computer with speakers or a receiver up to 330' away. The lossless signal is transmitted with a 12.8 Mb/s data transmission rate.
The transmitter box offers a 96 kHz S/PDIF input and an optical TOSLINK input for your audio source, which are auto-selected. The audio is output over an RJ45 port and can travel up to 330' over a single Cat 6 or Cat 5e cable. The receiver box has an RJ45 input and also has auto-selected S/PDIF and optical TOSLINK outputs. Supported audio formats include Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS. A 12 VDC power supply is included for the transmitter.
