The apparent angle of view affords a comfortable scanning angle of almost 57° with the ability to study your subject with precision. The extensive objective size of 42mm makes low-light conditions a study in functional high light transmission. Whether at dusk or dawn or with overcast skies, this optic is ready to deliver great seeing. It is fogproof and O-ring sealed for waterproof protection in rain, mist, or fog or during a hike along a white-water canyon river. The rubber armoring, besides offering shielding from bumps and bangs, is textured to supply an added safety margin so that it won't slip out of your hands into the hydrosphere even when wet. The large centered focus knob affords easily accessible focusing even with wet gloves. BAK4 prisms and fully multi-coated lenses produce clarity, color fidelity, and highly contrasted images.
